i've played with bigger boards up into the 5-6' to 5'8 range by upto 25" wide. its definitely a different ride. i've done them in displacement hull bottoms, hull to flat to spiral vee, flat to vee, twin, single, quad. they werent anywhere near as maneuverable as my 4-2' - 5'0 range. they were f...

the s deck, thin nose isnt because of weight. the angle of errr legs doesnt change in the water because the deck is "s-ed out." on standup boards lightening the nose would be beneficial but in riding prone you dont throw the nose around like you do when you are standing up. surfing prone r...
