rods correct. ive had three knee surgeries on my left knee and the use of fins has strengthened it more than any other fitness program. every case is different.

i walk out to my spot if the waves are breaking in shallow enough water, then just hop into waves. or you need one those ultra-super-duper-megaskiff-platters. get off those lame ass kneeboards!

i'm 6'5 250 and surf s.d. county. i've tried up to 7' alaia style. it was fun, just a down the line fun though. i've settled on boards between 4'-5' foam/glass or plywood. pes78. you are welcome to try any of my boards i got about 20 left.

i meet with my doctor in a couple of weeks. the above was in the "info pile" the hospital cardiologist gave me. i'd rather live than have another cigar and beer but, if i can do both, the latter in moderation, itd be great.

kusher, yeah...errr thanks. you can talk about anything you want here. but, if you have kneeboard riding/building experience that would be even more helpful. ive made a couple of parabolic's, esthetically trippy, but no worky. too slow, maybe cuz waves and as static as mountains and the prone boards...

yeah O.G. is right. slight and shallow concaves are a beautiful esthetic but dont really work as advertised in a plywood board. i have used them and they actually add a controlled longitudinal flex to the board, the type of flex that actually works when one pulls up on the outside rail while in a bo...
