Out of curiosity, what is the volume target.

Are the fins further forward compared to your other boards. Modern kneeboards seem to have moved fins way forward compared to older boards.

The weight of the fin, hanging from the strap stretches the strap, is utilising gravity.

Paulownia is pretty standard, doesn't need glassing. A wood board is obviously very different to a foam one to ride. Ryan Byrch rode unglassed slabs of foam.

I don't have a "too vertically" I can take off straight on a wave to the point of air dropping and not have a problem nose-diving. By straight, do you mean straight facing to shore? I much prefer to be on the board when I kick into a wave than behind the board and pulling up onto the boar...

Most decks are standard flat/rolled, the bottom has concaves. The pale blue boards, has a scooped out deck - the initial thinking was a flextail/spoon.
