I see the early stages of addiction emerging. Try the board without fins after you become more familiar with riding it. I'm going to get the fins for my new board cut down.

Handles on a paipo are worth a thread in itself. In the update to Robert Moynier's interview, he elaborates on his experience riding paipo with a handgrip.

Larry Goddard's boards have an S deck. The logic is that you don't need a whole lot of flotation in the nose area. One thought worth considering is how well your back fits into the S curve if you have back problems. Also the S alters your leg angle so you are working your legs at a slightly differen...

BJ, Are you in Melbourne now? I've been meaning to ask whether you are you still interested in the board with handlebars project? There's an interview coming up with Paul Witzig who rides a modern fibreglass version. Hope to get it posted up soon. Have also been doing research into the French planky...
