Glass on leash loop. There's several threads and different techniques on Swaylocks about how to do 'em.
I put one on a board I made a few years ago. Much nicer than a plastic plug.

I think a combo of both your ideas would be cool.

Hmmmm who do I know with a sewing machine? :?

Nice boards. Can you ride it with both arms forward like a kickboard ?

Put a FCS leash plug in the top with supersap epoxy. the loads of teak oil.

Here is a pic of m friend Leigh who I made it for, give you a sense of scale, its 25% of a bodyboard.
Beautiful board. That size reminded me: My friend from Hawaii told me how he and his friends--in their youth--would steal McDonald's food trays and use those as boards. And you see all the different types of Japanese and African handmade boards, & skimboards--this leads me to believe that anything works.

True, depending on what you mean by "works. You do need to look at performance and there you will see rather dramatic differences.

good morning, I would like to take up this topic again
How have the experiences gone over these years?

have you used it a lot? I've been thinking about making a normal handplane, but I have worn out clavicles and seeing your idea made me want to become one myself too

the measurements are in red, it would be 18 long by 15.8 wide, if you notice you have roker, I have to learn how to bend the wood, this curve will be to grab the micro paipo of the nose as a bodyboard and be able to support the elbows there that is 15.8 wide, the idea is to mount 2 small keels

how about ? crazy? It would be for windy days, with the paipo shot and I thought it was interesting to try something like that

it's going to be crazy?

it's not mine I build it for a friend, he was happy with how it worked.

Bodysurfing with a hand board your body is doing most of the planning work so the board is not so important. I think you have to much rocker and the fins arnt needed and would add danger.
