A new innovating construction approach...

Some guys up in the San Francisco Bay Area are having a lot of success using Unobtanium skins vacuumed-bagged to a Krytponite core using a whale-mucus-based bio-resin. The resin is not easy to come by, as you can imagine, what with open-ocean pursuit of the donor whale in a Zodiac, and a time-consuming proprietary distillation process of the collected “blow”. However, the resin is environmentally friendly, and once constructed, the board, while a bit stiff, has some unanticipated qualities. The glow of the Krytonite through the translucent skin achieves high-visibility. A very useful trait on the Bay with all the shipping traffic. Thus far, the only downside is the inability to ride in the Superman pose (for obvious reasons). The innovators are in discussions with noted designer, R. Goldberg, on creating a combination tunnel fin/hydro-foil device which can be easily converted to an espresso machine post-surf session.

Where can you buy and at what price Unobtanium skins? in Europe? mechanical properties and how to use it? I do not find anything about that, I know that Poc has used it for a helmet to ride a bike, but nothing else, it seems a kind of plastic

Sounds great...unless, well...if you have super powers and try to ride one you'd probably drown. ;)
