I still feel foils will give better lift to drag numbers than parallel to water flow rails .This is also an experiment with vinyl wrap, I don’t know how long it will stay on. Its 10mm Airex foam core with 20 mm top and bottom polyethylene foam plenty volume, the vinyl wrap is epoxy to the polyethylene foam

You sure have some alternative constructions! Do you just test out samples and see what sticks?

Yes stick, glue, weld stuff together and then rip it apart, there is amazing new adhesives and materials out there,example cars are glued together .

Before I bin my lamination off cuts I always twist and break them to understand how they perform.

Learning how to glue and laminate in this cold wet UK weather is an eye opener ,I had huge double garage work shop in South Africa I thought could not live without it but heating it hear would not make sense sheds work fine but you can’t collect junk, a tinkerer is only as good as his pile of junk
