Rumor is, Paipo Jim rides five or six waves like that every day before breakfast, surfing an old cedar shingle.

My 5 foot wave at Wilderness I envisioned was like that today... in all my glory!!! Ja Ja.

It's a wonder more people don't get injured riding waves like these. Good luck to them. It must be amazing to ride a wave like these, but, you have to be prepared to pay the price.
