Parabolic Rails
Looking into my next board , I like Trevor Yamamotos shed door design with parabolic rails but a bit longer as I’m tall . My current favourite is a 12mm x 5foot x 13” with a deep tail concave and swallow tail I predominantly surf fast beach breaks has anyone surfed a board similar to Trevor’s design in fast beach breaks .

Re: Parabolic Rails
Fwiw, the "shed door" has been ridden almost exclusively in fast beach break ( Ocean Beach SF)for the last 10+ years. Had several fun sessions on it this past holiday week in clean overhead surf, with long fast hollow sections. I keep a similarly shaped board on O'ahu that I've surfed at Ehukai-Pupukea area, Makapu'u, and "Base" - all beach breaks. I think the shape works fine on these kinds of waves.
