Why dont you try core foam used in boat building 5,10,20mm thickness ,easy to set channels ,rockers with heat or bending with batons and weights gets fantastic resin penetration

I love the rails in the tail area . But they look fragile and will chip for nothing ,I contemplate this allot how thin is to thin on a rail dose it improve performance

You are lucky, breaking stuff is the best way to understand structure limits, it’s easy to over engineer.

Fluid mechanics love it I spend a lot time watching wakes, vortexes on clips like this but this one has stumped me .
