Re: SurfMat Article
I have a 4GF Fatty. Its awesome in pretty much all conditions! Paul's service and supply was A1! He is also easy to contact and always happy to answer questions and give advice. I'm from Oz, but I like the idea that my mat was handmade by the guy I spoke to!

Its the perfect cure for the seriousness and aggravation of searching for, and having to fight for, perfect clean waves. Don't get me wrong, I love to bust out my hull or paipo's and get barrel...

Re: Credit where credit is due (rant).
When I started making my Royal Egyptian Cubit Boards, I reached back several thousand years to give Bobhotep of Buto credit for pioneering that style of board. I made up my own History about how he was a scribe for a small construction company...small tombs that is. He was travelling from Buto to C...

Re: Credit where credit is due (rant).
Good topic! I've ridden plywood bellyboards since I was a little kid. I guess I have to give credit to Tom Wegener, who got me into the prone alaia surfing about 6 years ago. That led me in turn to searching books and the web for other kinds of prone surfcraft. My first "paipo" was a rough...

Re: Father to son!
My wife filmed it at Anglesea Beach, down here in Southern Australia. Its not really a great surf beach as it usually closes out in anything over 2 foot waves. Its great fun for the kids though!
