Cool video of some 1960's Pipeline. There are a few seconds of a paipo ride starting around 2:30.

Re: california surfcrafts (cork boards)
Got this email this morning. Some opportunities to demo the bodypo. "I'm roadtripping down from San Francisco this week to start production on the Bodypo in Oceanside, CA. While I'm here I've organized a few test/demo days in Venice, HB and San Clemente. The links below take you to the FB event...

I have a size 10 foot. My feet are on the narrower side with high arches.
I wear 3mm booties and bought the size XL fins.

Re: Swim fins/flippers
They're definitely harder to put on than my original pair. I have to slide my foot all the way in before pulling up the heel strap. Hopefully they'll loosen up a little over time.

Re: Swim fins/flippers
I'm really liking the new Viper Vector V7 fins that I just got. They're a little stiffer than the older, more broken-in pair of yellow dot V7's that I've been using.

I read this on stokereport--an sf bay area surf forum. must be the same surfer ... "I paddled out to the less crowded wave on the ######, where there was about 5 other people chilling there. Nothing too eventful, everyone was just chit chatting with each other and surfing. The surf at this time...

Re: Paipo volume and bouyancy
Flojo,
I live in San Mateo and generally surf between HMB and SF. I have a Xylem 48" Malama Kai and a HPD (as well as lots of surfmats). You're welcome to try either of my paipos so if you ever want to meet up and surf please let me know.

Re: Xylem Malama Kai paipo
Surfed my new Malama Kai for the first time today. The waves were 2-3' and somewhat soft but it held in nicely on the occasional steep face. Can't wait to ride it in some better surf.
