An Interesting Board From the 1930s
Here is an interesting older board. I thought it is interesting, because it has more of a "surfboard"
shape than many older paipos. http://americanhistory.si.edu/collectio ... ah_1761095

Re: Glass an old bodyboard
Hi, I don't know, if it would stick or not. Also Polyurethane resin will dissolve EPS foam. It also might dissolve the the outer foam. It might be easier to go your local home improvement store (Home Depot etc.) and buy some XPS or EPS, I know a guy who made boards out the plain old pink XPS foam so...

I might go to Jalama on 10/7 just for the day. You have to reserve at least 2 days on weekends at Jalama campground. I might stay in Lompoc. I am planning to be down in the Santa Barbara area for 5-6 days or so.

Adjustable Force Fins
These are the fins I have been using the 10 months or so. If you want comfort, these are great. I have worn Regular and Pro Force fins for many years. But I have high insteps and even with the instep pads I got lot of irritation, after surfing for awhile. With the Adjustable Force fins I can surf fo...

Re: Chest Guard/Rash Guard
Hi, I have gone back to using my Paddle Air. It seems to protect my rib inury better. It is kind of a hassle having to adjust the position with every wave. But it seems to work better at protecting my ribs. My injury has gotten better so I might try the Sport Guard again.

Re: Selling boards
I have three boards that I need to sell also. Do you want to buy them? I have always ridden either bodysurfing, bodyboards or paipo. I did some mat riding as kid. For a long time I was a purist any only bodysurfed. I think riding prone gives you a better feel of the wave and the view is good too. St...

Re: Design Advice
Hi, If you want make a board like your board, but with rocker, go to Home Depot or somewhere else and buy some 1/8" plywood and laminate it up with the rocker. I used 3 layers for one board and 4 for another. I made a mold out of EPS. But you could use a series of strips of wood of different th...

Re: Board bags
I saw this on the Mini Simmons website. If I ever get to travel again, it looks like it would work pretty well. I have a smaller one from @midnight, but I would need a bigger one for my big board. If you look at the video, it looks pretty good. I don't know, if they will make a smaller one. https://...

it looks like @Midnight is no longer making bags. That's a bummer, because the one bag I got from them is very protective. I was going to get a longer bag.

Chest Guard/Rash Guard
Here is something new for me. It is made by Sport Guard. http://sportguard.net/ I have been using a Paddle Air. http://paddleair.com/ergo/ The Paddle Air is a little annoying, because it has an air bladder that can move around. It is also worn outside the wetsuit. This one goes underneath. I have pr...
