Re: Wedge wars.

I surfed the wedge about 15 years ago, it's a horrible close out, look at all the videos on youtube and you will hardly see a wave made or barrel exited, whats in the vids are the edited good waves and there not being made! I think bodysurfers probably get the most out of the wedge so let them have ...

Re: Ireland

No, non of the pics are of mini mundaka (its a reef so a stupid name really), it takes a super North swell to break which is rare, with a W/NW swell ER can be 8ft and mini is still only 1ft! I would head straight for ireland of your doing a trip across here, it looks just like wales and has far bett...

Re: Ireland

Glad you guys noticed my "trick maneuver" lol. I developed a trick back in my early days of bodyboarding were when i was trying to hurl myself into a 360 to hard I ended up rolling onto my side, I then realized I could do a spin in this odd position. A friend named it "cat on the mat&...

Re: Ireland

This area is super wave rich, when there are waves most surfers in the area surf easky left and easky right which are both good waes , but there are many great waes within 15mins drive. Most are slabby rock shelfs with some boulder breaks. There is one beach which is a swell magnet which has a nice ...

Re: Home video, with a bit of me riding.

we rarely get over 3ft and clean, the surf in the video 2(ft) I get about once a month (if i can get to the surf 7 days a week)

To get that beach low tide and clean I got up at 4am ,

latest local forecast onshore 24hrs a day for the next 10 days. :(

Re: Paipo en Peru video

Me and my friend are playing about with my gopro and his helmet, W have a side mount for it. I personally hate wearing anything like a helmet, so have not used it yet (more interested in surfing than filming) My friend made this little video with it on 1080 (the narrow angle) http://mypaipoboards.or...

Re: Paipo en Peru video

Cool footage. :D You have exactly the same red rail as my board i;m selling in the classifieds, I thought it was one of my vids for a second. Its strange how the gopro effect is to make the wave looks so flat, i;m finding it very hard to get the right angle to show the wave face well. is the board m...

Re: Latest Paipo Interview is GREAT!

Interesting article :D It was very interesting to see for the first time in the video the use of the handle. Seems to give a more "steering ride" that the hand on the rail way I'm used too. I guess once you get over 4ft it to far to reach the nose, and keep your body weight in the a tail/o...

Re: Greenough

I dont know where I read it,but I thought I remembered somewhere is saying greenough got inspiration towards the spoons from what larry was doing with the paipos.

Larrys interview does seem to contradict that,so maybe i remembered it the wrong way round. :?
