Re: my first paipo 44

I have given them a thin layer of varnish with a spray bottle. however, aluminum creates a white surface layer, it is ugly, but this crust protects the aluminum from the inside. I do not believe that they are the definitive fins. I think I'm going to do a few models as I see the needs, with how fast...

Re: my first paipo 44

I have to make some covers, some sewing machine

Re: my first paipo 44

The rounded edge looks safer, but in case of a brutal collision with a human body the aluminum won't break or bend. Why aluminum by the way ? I work in a factory with laser cutting machines, I am used to working with these materials, aluminum, steel, bronze ... on the other hand, and in my place I ...

Re: my first paipo 44

I much prefer a bicep leash with the plug about 8- 10" down from the nose. A shot from the tail down to the nose will show off the rocker better. They look like lethal weapons. Looking forward to hearing how they go. A shot from the tail down to the nose will show off the rocker better.? forgi...

Re: my first paipo 44

This poem started with the idea of a paipo 44. It is curious how the design has been developed thanks to your help. without you to make those paipos would be impossible you have helped me a lot, thank you very much Made with fiber and epoxy eps Blue 46.5 inches for flabby waves. Re: my first paipo 44

I ride a mountain bike very often, not as much as I would like, lack of time. I do not compete, but if I do my kilometers, I will have to learn to apply the strength of my legs to the fins. I have surfed for many years and I have often met people in bodyboard. It is amazing how fast vertical super w...

Re: my first paipo 44

Thank you very much, you have given me ideas that I had not thought about, I will keep them in mind. I am already moving slowly with the paipos, I do not have too much free time At night I do not usually sleep too much, and my head torments me Here I present a few ideas of keels, with new graphics t...

Re: my first paipo 44

You have managed to scare me, I did not see it so dangerous but when more than 5 people tell me the same thing, it is better to rethink and look from another point of view my fins have 3mm radius much fatter than the fins that are sold, the ones bought have really sharp edges, especially the part ra...

Re: my first paipo 44

I could not stand it. I had this form of fins on my head and I gave it 3mm aluminum. The idea is to reduce vortex as much as possible. Turbulence at the tip of the keel the big one has 4.7 and the small one 4.5 inches, but its area is very different. mount 2 parallel to the central axis with a separ...

Re: my first paipo 44

Https://www.finfoil.io/ I use the solidworks program to design the keels, I can import photos and copy or modify them. I can also do basic hydrodynamics studies, the xflr5 program also does these functions and is free. very very good to design hydrofoils The ends of a surfboard work exactly like the...

Re: 8ft waves with wind paipo?

For a deck pad, the Cove Pad is highly recommended (they are based out of Huntington Beach/Costa Mesa area). The company owner is a kneeboarder. Recommend contacting him about pads available in Europe or alternatives in the EU or UK. Casey Patelski at http://www.covepad.com/ I have been looking at ...

Re: 8ft waves with wind paipo?

I have not found this type of boat or sail or engine. but if many models in kayak, from what I have read, this design is slower than a hull in u or v-shaped, but offers great stability and easy entry into waves I pass some photos and videos on what I have based as inspiration https://www.youtube.com...

Re: 8ft waves with wind paipo?

Let's just call it an evolution of the Lindsay Lord experiments on what makes a fast platform. He tested his theories with a paipo-type platform but applied empirical knowledge to hulled fast speed runner boats. I agree that as presently configured one does not make for a thruster-like turning boar...

Re: 8ft waves with wind paipo?

this board goes without keels, it has enough guidance, the keels will only brake very interesting the idea of doing a retro-fit. it had not occurred to me, I see it easy to do but what do you think about the idea in general? I do not know if it's a very fat nonsense or good solution. the price of ep...

Re: 8ft waves with wind paipo?

I do not know if it is a tremendous nonsense or a good solution to the boats that give as when the stones are thrown into the lake

the paipo I'm going to laminate I've put a hairpiece, carved without much love, it's just a quick sketch
