If you are going to glass it use epoxi to be on the safe side (but why) get some new foam and use it for a templet

I make both, solid is nice ply is cheaper both ride nice, ply is by far more durable here are two solid wood boards one is redwood the other is black walnut and one blue ply board

I sold 2 paipos amd 3 hand boards last week who would of thunk it ? the glue and the car sounds good to me. tilebond 2 or 3 will work fine with about 4 coats of minwax polyurethane (oilbase not that wimpy water base stuff)

I put handle on some of my boards with glue and stainless steal screws the only way it would come off if the board broke

went out at 7am no wind 4 to 6 with a low tide lots of fast barrels took out my smallest board (sliver) made out of pine shelving someone was geting rid of. you know what I say if it is free it for me

I like mine sortof narrow no more then 16" wide but more like 14" for me narrow boards hold the wave face better and get them in to smaller tubes with out the lip hitting the outside edge of the board
