First session was at Blacks friday evening semi glassy conditions 4-5 on the sets mostly windswell. I stayed on the inside because the outside...

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
Board is ready for glassing, glassing schedule is 6oz bottom with double 4oz deck. Deck will have full deck pad. Will be setup with three fin boxes and ridden as a twin mostly. I got a little creative and put some paint on the blank. Will post pics of the finished board when I get from glassing.

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
I have done about 6 or 7 eps boards and I had felt they were to light. I did have one were I had if glassed heavy to get that poly feel, it was 6oz bottom 6x6 deck. Plus eps sucks water so if your traveling you need to get out. The other thing with eps is it a pain to finish.

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
The blank I used was a 6'11" fish blank from millienium foam. I cut 2ft off the tail and 9" off the nose. Pretty much the middle of the blank. My thoughts as far as the getting to softer foam is, it's closer to the middle of the whole blank. Not just the middle of the blank, it seems to me...

Here is the outline and bottom double concave in the tail. The contours are a bit more cleaned up and I'll post pics of the finished board. Hoping to get the board done this afternoon.

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
Started another board tonight. It's 4'2 x 22 x 3" with some vee in the nose going flat and then a deep double concave going through the tail. Nose is 19" wide and tail is 21" wide. This will be my summer board and will be a twin fin with plans to run it as a twin or keels. Will post u...

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
Thats the thing this is the feel I've been searching for being part of the wave feeling that energy. Other than bodysurfing this the only way to go. I thought that kneeboarding would get me close but I think thats over for me now. I think it was a barrel from last week I was pulling into it and it w...

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
So have had this board for about a month now. Gets into anything I want to get into. Has trouble with weaker waves but thats ok. Been riding it mostly with Rasta keels in the front boxes and I think these are the fins for the board. Got a few barrels on it which was fun but didn't make it out of the...

Re: 4'2 Bellyboard
Picked this up Friday night, pretty quick turn around about a week and a half. The rails are thin in the nose going about a foot back. Then they get thicker the further you go back, I wanted to keep some volume going all the way back where most of my body is. I think Tomo would do something similar ...
