Well scored some good surf in ireland, 14 surfs in 5 days!! None of the spots i have been hunting for years turned on ,but the average in ireland is very good. I surf mainly around easky in county sligo with a trip up to bundoran for day.

Off to ireland on a 5 day trip. I shall do my best to return with some pics!!

we rarely get over 3ft and clean, the surf in the video 2(ft) I get about once a month (if i can get to the surf 7 days a week)

To get that beach low tide and clean I got up at 4am ,

latest local forecast onshore 24hrs a day for the next 10 days.

Me and my friend are playing about with my gopro and his helmet, W have a side mount for it. I dont know where I read it,but I thought I remembered somewhere is saying greenough got inspiration towards the spoons from what larry was doing with the paipos.

Larrys interview does seem to contradict that,so maybe i remembered it the wrong way round.

Its a local beach break (Wales), has a headland that causes a wedge effect, Not really working very well this day. 2ft at most maybe looks bigger in the video.

I tried a nose mount and the problem is if you aim the cam straight when your surfing you actually point the board to the flats a lot, i have been in 6ft barrels and it looks like i'm on a 2ft wave heading for the beach. pole mounts are only good for going one way, so need to be at left or right and...

I don't listen to music much these days (other than at work on the radio where I try to find classic rock station) I see all guys on the webcast of the ASP surfing listening to music before there heats, I seem to always have to many thoughts rolling round my brain to have any concentration for music.

interesting stuff.

I have to say I kinda like being the only one in the water on a paipo, just feels like you have your own "thing" but its great to meet a like minded person from time to time.

I surfed ocean beach last winter on my cali trip, where were you!!!
