Re: New Mega Platter
Hey JBW, board looks good. I am curious about the longer length and its benefits. I live in Pacifica and most of our surfable waves are frequently mushy with sections. I have a 45 " tb3 which I really like but I frequently find myself caught up in the whitewater and unable to drive thru it even...

simmons type stand up for belly riding?
A general question to the forum-I see a lot of very short simmons type shapes for sale on craigslist etc. some of them are 5 feet or even a few inches under in length. also generally pretty wide with a pretty parallel rails and low rocker-has anyone here tried one of these as a prone board? Just cur...

The mat takes a very long time. George Greenough says he is still learning how to ride it.

Re: Swim Fins with Booties
I have had the same issue with rapidly wearing fin socks and finally found these that work for me. Decent sole-thin but strong and pretty easy to get
the fins off and on. Good protection when rock dancing and comfortable when kicking.
xcel infinitoid is the brand and model

How long?
I went surfing this morning with and old surfing buddy and for the sake of nostalgia ,rode a regular board for the first time in months.. ( a 9'10 yater) it was pretty small and after riding a few waves standing up, I began riding them prone just for the hell of it. While I couldnt turn it worth a c...

Hey Bob, If you look at OG-Azns initial review of the board at the start of this thread, he mentions flex while riding.

Re: California Surfcraft Bodypo Review
Hey Bob, both-if you play around with it you can bend it by hand but it is not weak, it is a nice springy flex. In the water, I have pressed down on the nose while trying to drop into a wave and the flex I was able to generate helps me get into waves. A better rider probably has more examples of use...

Re: bodyglove fins
sure Rod- I wear a 10.5-11 shoe, my feet are of medium width. I tried to put on a pair of the yellow vipers(xl) and could not get my foot into the pocket- I have 3 types of fins I own, duckfeet, Da Fins and now the bodyglove fins. I live in the SF Bay area and wear 3mm fin socks. All my fins are xl....

bodyglove fins
I got these bodyglove bodyboarf fins from amazon for 39 bucks. They are comfy, have good thrust and are pretty easy to walk in.
4 go outs on a variety of prone craft and I like them.
If they last awhile they are a good deal for me

Re: California Surfcraft Bodypo Review
Hey Og-are those measurements you give right at the nose and tail? (sometimes measurements for boards are taken 12" from nose or tail so I just wanted to clarify)
I like the looks of that board-
