These are the fins I have been using the 10 months or so. If you want comfort, these are great. I have worn Regular and Pro Force fins for many years. But I have high insteps and even with the instep pads I got lot of irritation, after surfing for awhile. With the Adjustable Force fins I can surf for hours without a problem. I'd say that these are probably the comfortable fins made. They are a little narrower than the other Force Fins. So work good for surface kicking. You can use different thicknesses of booties or socks. The only drawback is the bungie cord heel strap. You have adjust them really tight. But now that i have them tightened up, they haven't come off, even in big surf. I also didn't like the instep straps. So I bought different ones from Strapwoks.com.
