Bob Green passed along this message to me:
You may already have heard but Buzzy Kneubuhl recently died. I read about it on the Ewa Beach thread on Swaylocks and checked with John Clark.

Apparently happened on Wednesday somewhere between Hookipa and Kahalui harbor on Maui..he was paddling a single man canoe doing a "downwinder" with another canoe, and they ran into some trouble and the canoes flipped. They were able to right them and continued on but soon after that he just fell out of his canoe; his friend got him into shore, but he was gone..probably a massive heart attack, but won't know for certain for a few days."
