My wife is talking about wanting to go there for a birthday trip. Have any of you ever surfed there?

A friend of mine, a kneeboarder from Ocean Beach San Diego, made that trip 10 or so years ago. Remember seeing some slides and photos. Yes, there is surf. You might want to research the season and conditions. The islands are also people volume limited. There are one or more surf shops there.

Cool. Thanks for the help y'all! The stormrider guide says its an uncrowded reef break, so that got my attention.

Atlanta,

Galapagos looks really interesting and is perhaps a place a spouse might be interested in seeing. See http://www.waterwaystravel.com/surf_ecuador/galapagos/
for package information. I have been happy with Waterways for travel to Samoa (4x) and El Salvador.
