Small day at Lacanau

Hi there
Although I always complain waves are too big for me, this week they have been a bit too small.
Time to test my new finless plywood board !

I love the way traditional thin finless paipos can get out in front of the whitewater and get around collapsed sections and are able to be in position to get onto the face when a wave reforms in the shore break.

Soulglider, thanks for your post, I shaped another board following some of your comments, no skegs, a rounded nose, no rocker. Rails are still straight, as I have no template to round them a little. Indeed I could feel the difference ! It is faster, and turning is more interresting, it is closer than what I felt when I rode bodyboards. I posted a picture of the board in the dedicated topic.
