Sunday Oct.18th 2020 dawn patrol up Northshore. Kahanalu's were in the water at first-light, Ehukai parking lot was full as spectators filled the beach checking out the surf as other's leave do to surf conditions. While I swam out greeting everyone in the line-up, I knew it would be hard for a take-off with these NS surfers, I thought of moving myself and placing myself 75 feet outside of everyone and wait for the right wave to roll in, while giving the ones I didn't want. I was waiting for that "BIG BOWL" to roll right in front of me and this is what I got an air-drop in :o .... check it out! :D

Jarrett,

The parallel arm hold position is noticeable. Do you reckon it works better on these type of waves?

Bob
it depends on the characteristic of the wave and location of the rider on the wave.
