Looks like fun.
Paipo surfer in repose,
Nose on the nose,
No grunting he-man pose.
See how fast he goes!
What is it he knows?

The POV stuff , while no doubt personally enjoyable..doesn't tell the story at all. Would much rather see it occurring from the beach..still..I would love to surf the Meditereanen!

I have to agree with you on that one, Dr. Robert. I tend to just get dizzy vertigo. Generally speaking, I prefer a broader view of the surf that those close-ups where I can see the wrinkles in the surf star's skin. Only the old inside the cover page surfing mags "center fold" adverts merit close-us Okay, now I've been sent to the corner.
Some of the people with a good stick to hold or some rear mounted units provide some less jarring perspective. Nonetheless, I enjoy your stoke! And other people enjoy so keep on posting.

Re: Mediterranean Paipo Sessions (Valencia, Winter 2021)
The flattening effect of a POV seems to reduce a decent size wave to a fat shoulder so I think they are most interesting for a barrel view. My aim is to see if I can get a few decent barrel views this year or next. I bought a shoulder mount but haven't used it yet. Somewhere hollow with no-one else out will be the testing ground.
On the positive side, sometimes you can see subtleties of the board performance through POV and they do provide a different perspective and lasting one, of a surf, especially things you may not notice at the time. As Rod said, keep posting.
