The idea is to have the thinnest rails with bouncy. Obviously the rail will be fragile being so thin

Very interesting! I look forward to hearing your ride reports.

So complex it boggles my mind! :o

I think i could only make sense of it by riding one. :D

Would be interesting the see some fluid dynamics modeling done on your designs.

I guess the idea is to focus the water flow, to get better lift at lower speed. It is ultimately no faster at top end but you get there faster, like a car with lots of toque

I'm thinking a couple extra layers of 4 oz. glass on deck side towards the rails in back (compression of glass in turns) might be beneficial both for longevity and also for more snappy flex of the "wings"

I only use 6 oz now and has 3 m of cloth in it, 5 layers on the inside of the rails it’s strong with some flex hoping to teats on Sunday. Always exciting riding a new design for the first time! The last board set very high standards

My eyes certainly like the look of it! Looking forward to a ride report.

First test on Sunday 1.3 m @ 13 sec onshore winds with blue bottles ,set waves closing out .It rode the inside mush well getting on top off and making even the teeniest waves great fun.unfortunatly all the bigger pitching faces ended in spectacular nose dives it seems to jump out of the wave face . It will take some more testing to understand .The sharp rails hurt my fingers when carrying it normal under arm.

The other problem is I am finding bruises and tender spots that I never got with other boards.

Sounds like it is going to take some time to work out how to ride it in hollow waves or you have a mush rider.

Second test completed , the 1 in keel that I thought was going make the board run straight as an arrow, I found as it gets up on a rail in the wave face there is a transition faze were the out ward wash pushes the keel and yaws the board sideways. The idea off focusing water flow clearly works but not in the way I thought .The beast feature is how easily it gets on the plain even on the smallest waves , also great when past the yaw faze in the vertical zone on the rail tips it fly’s .This is going to be a good board.
