Those shapes look pretty sweet.
What fin do you favor?
Paipo surfer in repose,
Nose on the nose,
No grunting he-man pose.
See how fast he goes!
What is it he knows?

Now xmas is over (for us downunder at least) how thick is that board?

If it is as thick as it looks I'm interested in the technique for getting such a board through waves. I've been going thinner & plan to go thinner again, because I found a board even 1 7/8" at the thickest point too much effort to duckdive in more solid waves.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.

PaipoJim,

The HPD and ply/thin wood boards are the ultimate duckdivers. I also like foam boards but am curious about these thicker foam boards.

Thanks.

300 lbs - I can see why it is 3". Even with the nose thin, mine is less than 1", depending on how much thickness you have in the tail area you can still end up with the same volume as a short standup board (due to board width). My next board will reduce volume by approximately a third again.
