How did you build it? Are the wings fibreglass? How does it go in good waves?

Hi Bob I used two layers of 5mm core foam with a layer of 6oz cloth in the middle ,rocker is set with batons and weight you can heat set core foam as well , and 6oz cloth top and bottom has some flex , and then covered with 20mm polyethylene foam top and bottom for bouncy and shape .The rails are thind down from the 10mm sandwich core to 5mm with very sharp leading and trailing edges with a concave covered with 2 layers of 6oz cloth .This board is outstanding in slop ,also tried it in small pitching waves wow its blisteringly fast, also handed it over to another rider for a few waves the report back was its very fast and you don't need to bottom turn on take off ,I rode his body board for a few waves I was impressed with how much flotation it has but compared to my board it felt it vague and had little grip and drive on the wave face

Thanks Chrispi.

Is the layer of glass between the 2 x 5mm sheets for binding them/strength or does it also form the rough shape of the wings, like a foundation?

If the trailing edge of the yellow rail covered with an additional 2 x 6 ozs, how thick is the rest of it - 1 x 6 or 3 x 6 oz?

Presumably the 2 oz of cloth top and bottom adhere the 20 mm polyethylene foam to the core? Is the final finish, this 20 mm foam?

Yes the middle layer of 6oz is to give the laminate torsional strength, forgot to mention I also used carbon mesh in the middle layer on this board , I set the rocker without the outer layer of glass , shape the final dimensions set the wing ,rail lending and trailing edges ,then cover the top and bottom with one layer of 6oz and another layer over the wing area top and bottom so I suppose its 1x6oz middle 2x6oz top,2x6oz bottom around the wing area and 1x6oz top and bottom over the rest of the core laminate .The polyethylene foam is glued to the core and shaped .The wings are covered with vinyl wrap to give chip protection to the very thin edges.

The polyethylene is dressed with a high grade 3mm foam for looks and colour contrast .

Thanks.

So overall 33 mm or about 1 6/8" thick. The colour of the wings had me baffled but seems this colour is vinyl wrap.

Now for some photos of it in action.
