I realise I have read this "a bit late" but if you are ever down SW Victoria again I would be happy to catch up with another paipo surfer.
I owe you much thanks and appreciation for your work documenting the wide array of people who have been involved in making and riding paipos and other forms of surfcraft. Although the height of interest seems to have been about a decade ago I feel there is so much about the making and riding of alternative surfcraft that is very relevant at present. It has been a great source of stimulation and inspiration reading your work.
As I say don't hesitate to look me up.
