First sea trial not an actual failure, but not successful. Here comes a wave, start paddling, stop paddling and find the right button on the control and activate". Paddle again and miss the wave as the motor takes about 20seconds to get thrust. 2nd wave. Activate motor, paddle! How good is this! Wave is going to close out! Stop paddling and get thrust over the falls.%$$. Potential new doverlackey on EBAY soon.

Ps. After 30 minutes the actuator stops. Sit in the line up and find someone with a magnet to restart.. . Or just go home.

or just press button twice every 15 mins ,that sounds hard ???

OK!!! I will pass on the instructions to Max. Though I'm not sure that he has a computer. If he doesn't then I will get him to ring you for advice.

I had been disabled and out of the water for 8 years as it was too painful for me to continue kneeboarding. I wanted back in so bought a wavejet motor which I installed into a 6'11" board. It could only push me at paddling speed, and I could only ride prone, but it was fabulous!!! - It had similar issues to the boost in that it took a few seconds to get going. I ended up starting the motor as I popped over the wave before the one I wanted. This gave me enough speed (with my paddling) to catch the wave. I have never had anyone object to my catching my 6 to 10 waves in a session as I never snake or drop in.. After 3 years I was able to start prone surfing with standard 'unplugged' surfboards, but every so often when I cannot move enough to surf unaided, I take my barge out - it is still a blast to ride - the motor does not help once you are on the wave and the most useful thing it does is helping me get out of dangerous situations .

As a New group These ideas of "morfing" are excellent. Providing the positive and negatives of what you have done. Am riding my Kneeon and Natives all the time. Just keep thinking "What else".
Both fiberglass as such. Flexibility doesn't equate to solid rails. These things are fast and so far have handled 2ft runners to maybe solid 6ft at the Farm.
