take a look at the pencil lines in this pic..they are proportionate to the wing, to assist with pivot. Certainly NOT on the tail but definitely back 1/3rd ..

thx mate..it's 4'11"x21 1/2" sorry, it's handshaped and can't give you a litreage
Tim, having said that it would be 2 5/8" thick minm, so you can always use a Shape3D google search to get an idea.
Surfing prone? We're never totally out of the water (but see my pic to follow) so, buoyancy isn't necessarily, critical

water entry is essential (with anything you surf) but prone? Keep things like chines/edges to make sure your rails lift and stay high ..but let water IN everywhere else โค..
