My Checkered RPM Addiction

It happened. I succumbed to another dosage, another shot of S&S Model of the Checkered RPM. Turns out that I needed a replacement S&S RPM after leaving my namesake board in Costa Rica for safe keeping until my next trip there. Board fees and such have just become to expensive and complicated so I now have boards in PR (Checkered RPM, black & blue) and CR. It will also make travel a bit easier... just take my related gear (skegs, swim fins, leashes...) but no board. If only it were possible to park a board everywhere I might want to go!

The original S&S is Sun & Sea -- the new S&S is Sunset and Sea.

Similar to S&S and a little bit thinner than Checkered RPM Black and Blue -- specs link from this page:

Pretty board. Hopefully there will be swell between now and FL so you can give it a solid workout.

I am out of commission for the near future... should be able to paddle out at FL on June 2nd, but that will be touch and go. Need to let my ribs & associated tissue to heal so I can surf with abandon again come hurricane season. You may need to bring both paipos down to FL so I can at least pose with one!!!

Austin had a nice assortment of boards on display at his surf shop this past Friday.
