Poobah's Paipo Nui

Poobah posted a photo of a Paipo Nui board on the cork deck thread: http://mypaipoboards.org/forum3/viewtop ... t=20#p1879.

On the photo you can see the PN logo. I thought I'd share this page from a Paipo Nui flyer.

Here's a page from a magazine that shows the prices in 1965:

Bob, the Paipo Nui was of course a huge influence on the evolution of the paipo. It's other big influence...it was a thread about an old Paipo Nui article that kicked off the first of the "Paper Trail" threads in the "Your Wave" section of the old forum back in March of 2009.

Poobah,

Thanks.

The other side of the flyer image I was sent, says $19.95 plus tax ($20.65).

Rod has also recently acknowledged the importance of the paper trail here: http://thebeachsideresident.com/2012/09/rod-rodgers/

There was also the thread by r32 asking where paipo fitted into history that sparked interest in better understanding the paipo lineage.

Rod tells me he is still working hard on the paper trail - it is always good to see gems unearthed.

Bob
