Sayulita next week
I'll be in Sayulita from the 9th of this month until the 16th. Anybody in or around that area that would like to get together for a session or a beer let me know. Don't know if there will be any surf but at least the water will be warm.

Re: Sayulita next week
Just got back. I'm apparently still dragging a surf trip curse, I was out the first four days with a bad back and the last three days with noro-virus. Nontheless I got out one day, water is very warm (which is nice). The wave at the town beach is probably better for a long board, lonnnnng easy left. There are other breaks around but because of above mentioned difficulties I wasn't in a position to appreciate. It's quite a bit built up from the village it used to be -pretty touristy- but there are surf shops and lots and lots of restaurants. Might be a good place to use as a base if you rented a car and could investigate spots up and down the coast.

Re: Sayulita next week
Fond memories of Sayulita from a drive down trip to Rio Nexpa a pal and I made back in 1981.
We spent several days hanging out in Cruz De Huanacaxtle /Bucerias/ Punta De Mita/Sayulita with some new friends we'd met on the ferry ride from Cabo, surfing, fishing and enjoying the local vegetable products before heading farther south. Great trip.
Very little in the way of development back then but I understand much has changed since.....

Paipo surfer in repose,
Nose on the nose,
No grunting he-man pose.
See how fast he goes!
What is it he knows?
