4ft Freshie
Have another board in the works from Tony at TC. It's 4ft by 22.5 thickness out at the rails 1.25" in the center is .5" give or take. Same bottom contours as my last one and doing a thruster setup. Going to get these fins from True Ames https://www.trueames.com/collections/tr ... compatible oh and eps Tony said he was going to put some carbon inlayed on the deck.

Re: 4ft Freshie
Went to measure the board for the cove pad today and going to go with a twin setup running side bites. We laid it out the thruster with the boomerang fins and just didn't fit the board. Plus we agreed that it was a lot of fin for the board. The bottom is a little more subtle than my last one he did for me.

If you're still going to use fins, will they be glassed on? Doesn't look like there is enough thickness for fin boxes, although could be the camera angle. You may have to go with the old school FCS "pots". Just a thought...

FUN FUN FUN
Paipo surfer in repose,
Nose on the nose,
No grunting he-man pose.
See how fast he goes!
What is it he knows?

Yes will be putting full futures boxes in. It's 1.25" out toward the rail so plenty of room. I can't wait to get it most likely next week, shaper's been fairly busy.

Awesome, but don't be afraid to use up to 5" twin fins if the surf is large enough. That shape will generate plenty of lift, especially in larger waves. Those boomerangs look pretty interesting. Lots of down-the-line projection in the larger stuff. I wish there was an FCS version of that fin.

They do they're just sold out currently. I bet Bird's shed has a set or two.

I told him to do what ever he wanted with the glassing. I'm digging it.
