If you tain't got nothing to do at the end of this mounth and you are in the san diego check out this gathering might be super cool I plan on going it is now at scripps pier north side

Nothing to sell, no "events' per se..just you,your board, hopefully a few waves to ride, and an open mind.

Sounds like the two ends of a spectrum.
The PS was briefly discussed here:

I'll be interested to hear what both days are like, especilaly what the surf is like.

Mostly wood boards at Torrey Pines, and a possible showdown between the Verts and the Horrys (timber vs. plywood riders, vertically laminated vs. horizontally laminated.) Maybe even some Kookboxers...or (gasp) hot rod people riding car creepers with the wheels still attached. Sounds like fun.

It is rumored there will be many babes up in San Simeon, ha ha. We call our boards, wood and foam, our babes
I am looking forward to some good talking and trying out a few of these boards. Hope a few of our southern folks can make it up "north" into Central Calif.

IF YOU COME TO PAIPO FEST GO TO THE SOUTH PARKING LOT THE NORTH ONE IS UNDER CONSTRUTION it is at scripps pier now north side

Hey, Mike...since you made the first post on this thread, then you can go back and edit the title of the thread. Maybe change it to, "Paipo Stokefest at La Jolla." You could also get rid of that graphic that says Torrey Pines.
Be advised that I'm only bringing donuts for the Horrys. If your friend Jerry is strictly a Vert, then he'll have to nibble on seaweed.

ahhhh dooonuts!!!!!! you might have to park at the north end of the shores parking lot and walk a whole 1/4 mile. I think they want it there so it will be on the scripps pier web cam so those that can't come can see live. so here is the update.
