Photo Posting Guidelines & Policy
Good news! The upgraded version of the Forum software has more extensive, built-in support for photos and file sharing. Guidelines are subject to change. I am still learning about how the figure/file handling system works so it will be walking before running.
A few guidelines
1) Manage the file sizes of the figures (images/pics) that you post. What's that mean? It means that you shouldn't post huge megabyte files straight from your camera or from another location. Third party software is widely available for reducing an image's pixel and file sizes. Two good, easy-to-use freeware programs include IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/) and XNView (http://www.xnview.com/).
2) Post using one of these popular image formats: JPG, GIF or PNG.
3) Read the instructions on posting an image file. the instructions may seem complicated but are actually very easy. I tried to include all the steps for posting a file from your computer or from an Internet link (URL). Please read the instructions! Print them out if that helps. Once you post an image or two you will get the hang of it. See the instructions at: http://mypaipoboards.org/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24

Please let me know of photo sharing sites that work and don't work so we can share this information with our fellow paipo forum riders. You may contact me via PM or at: paipodude@mypaipoboards.org

Like this laddie.
Paipo surfer in repose,
Nose on the nose,
No grunting he-man pose.
See how fast he goes!
What is it he knows?
