Yeah

Scored this today now I need to wait for it to be shipped:

Specs:
Poly Construction
50" x 23 7/8
Currently single fin glass on like a 9" or 8"

Hoyte's blog site of it being birthed it

http://hoytedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/0 ... arrow.html

It had twin fins that the owner took off after riding a bonzer paipo and going single.

Things to do:
Install 10" single fin box
Install two future boxes (Need to figure out placement as various wavearrows have them off of the channels)

I can't make out much of center hull in this WaveArrow from the photo -- maybe the angle? What kind of bonzer paipo did the owner ride?

Not sure what bonzer Paipo but know was Malcolm Campbell shaped.

That is why the guy put a single on this Hoyte. As he felt it was better than the small twin fins.

interesting board, would that be considered a hydrofoil rail?

In the sense the board planes on the edge or a single rail rather than a larger surface of a flat hull or concave. I would not think of it as a classic hydrofoil. Some of Gus Acosta's designs feature very pronounced bi-hulls with a deep center concave and others are more tri-hulled. More pics here in our interview with Gus:
