Hey jbw, did you treat the surface of your shaped blank with anything prior to glass job?
On other posts in this forum, I saw mention of spackle or micro balloons being applied.
Did you find this necessary?

Hi, Sorry for the delay. I was out of town. Yes I made a thin slurry of epoxy and micro ballons. That is what most people are doing these days.
