Well A friend sent me a link to this http://waveinvader.com/

He makes some serious claims as to its ability in all conditions, and conventional bodyboards not having the same abilities, but i think it might be along time before someone wins the bodyboard world championship on it!!

I'm all for innovation and enterprise, but some bold claims are going on here, with little to back it up when you video is in 1ft close out surf. :?

Thankfully the Revolution is HERE!!! And there are NO MORE RULES!!! And damn curses on those square bodyboards. Geez, Tom Morey, what a screw-up you are, not to mention Lindsay Lord (although Lord did have a V-hull up front).

Thank you,this was hilarious!
It was supposed to be funny right?
Wow…the Wave Invader, yeah, that's what I want to do.
A new name maybe could be the "Soup Suppressor"... :)

Funny, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the name "Wave Invader" was the infamous "Bedroom Intruder" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEAKsaQOCpQ
Not a very wise product name for any kind of bodyboard, or any "new" type of surfcraft for that matter.

The shape of the board reminds me of the wood Paipoglide boards. I never cared for pointy nose prone boards because it's hard for me to get decent leverage and control off the nose with them. The shape might work better if you drop knee or knee ride.

Geez. If it's not satire - watching the boards in small closeouts isn't going to set the world on fire.

Interesting you should say that, as the friend who showed me the wave invader! has a paipo glide and i have the early finless prototype on loan.

The design was more forced as it was to hard to bend the rail wood to get a fuller nose, they work on take off and in steep sections, but as soon as you slow up or hit a flat section of wave where I would normally move forward on the board to keep speed, you cant, as the frontal are is to small so they kinda slow up and sink. Have to ride them off the tail all the time.

You may all be missing the point. They come in four (4) colors!

Whoa, wait a minute, did you say four (4) colors?
Well hell then, this changes everything!
Thanks for pointing that out, I wonder if they could do four(4) colors on the same Wave Invader/Soup Suppressor?
That would be like, so awesome, dude.
