I'm looking for photos of Pete Howorth bodysurfing. I believe he wrote/was featured in the Petersen Yearbooks. Anyone have copies/know of the articles?

One of them is seven years back in the old forum. A short one pager from a magazine, not a yearbook. Is that the one you're looking for? It has a picture of young Rodney Sumpter at Salt Creek, and now I have to wonder if he ever did his tidal bore surfing on a bellyboard.

Many thanks. I didn't have a particular issue in mind. I was going from vague information photos were contained in Petersen mags and some covers referred to bodysurfing.

I just checked Rod's site and this article doesn't appear to be featured (subsequent issues are) - though I may have missed it. Do you have access to a good scanner?

I have a scan of Ron H. bodysurfing in an article by him in Surfer Magazine, 1965-Apr/May, v06n02p40, "Makapuu Battle Cry," by Ron Haworth. Ping me in about a week about this.
