Hi, My friend found this old board we think its some ones project from the 70's

I gave it a go and it goes pretty well , it pretty thin and low volume. The tiny fins at the back corners make it a little stiff to turn :?

Its has a lot of belly in the front and a dished out deck.

Nice board, how the nose being wider than the tail affects the ride ?

Krusher,

That's a find for sure. It's an interesting design, with that foiled nose and looks like there is thickness in the tail.

Is there anything to suggest who made it?

Bob

wide front boards are good for weak waves where you lean on the front of the board to get going. I personally like plenty of width in the front of a board.

Nothing written on it, its lowish volume i would guess in the 15to 20 L range
