I've been looking in the forum but I have not found too much information or debate about these keels just this interview

the first information I found is from 1964

Could it be a good way to control takeoffs on windy days?
I have seen in square shape and round shape. my head burns, I do not want to do a hydrofoil, I just do not fly so much

podría ser una buena forma para controlar los despegues en días de mucho viento?
he visto en forma cuadrada y en forma redonda . me arde la cabeza, no quiero hacer un hidrofoil, solo no volar tanto

This would be an easy way to make the keels, 5mm aluminum sheet folded and screwed to the wood

pvc pipe? side 250mm ? ummm

Don't worry about going crazy. You will be in good company.

Posted in 2003 I think...photos are deck-down, looking at the underside of the boards

Modified Tubes Paipo: That has been the basis of my idea, the other photos I did not know.
I saw the tubes on the sides and I thought a version of that would be for my paipo, it is the great thing of this community to be able to learn from others and be able to contribute

Both John Mellor and Surffoils post on Swaylocks, Surffoils sometimes drops by here. He is working on fibreglass flippers, at present.

No tube fins, but wave face contact thoughts:
