| Girl surfers are getting huge secular press coverage in the Summer of 2002, perhaps in anticipation of the release of Hollywood chick surf flick "Blue Crush". Malibu has a tradition of women surfers going back to the 1950's. |

| (Below) Her's IS bigger. She outgunned me in the lense department, and still had film when I ran out, so she got all the girl surfing photos this morning. There are many aspects of the surfing life beyond the actual riding of waves. Shooting surf photos is a great learning tool, as it forces you to flow, anticipate, react, and then critique your work. |
