New Paipo Website

Rod, Here is another "new" Paipo site. http://www.thepaiposociety.com/ It is a new kid on the block. But it does list your site.

I cringed a bit, I could be completely wrong but it did look like someone usurping the term paipo. Somewhat like the site that claimed to have rediscovered the bellyboard.

Next thing someone will try to copyright the word, paipo. Obscurity has something going for it.

Yeah, looks a lot like a promotional vehicle for the commercial guys. But if it gets more people riding paipos, it's not all bad.

It is a nice looking home page. The eye candy will be attractive to many, but this site will remain the leading source for useful, useless and usually topical information.

For paipo™, any publicity is probably good publicity. Perhaps there will be more pretty girls bothering me at the beach now.

Glenn gave me heads up about the site about a week ago. Apparently he browses the Paipo Forums and the web pages although I don't recall him registering for the forums. Maybe he has.

Met Glenn and some others on the Facebook page, Aquatic Apes. He runs the Liquid Salt on-line magazine.

He has been invited to the paipo gathering at Heart San Simeon campground and the announcement was made on the Aquatic Apes page.
