I will build up a web page to consolidate pics from the San Simeon Gathering. Please send pics to me: paipodude@mypaipoboards.org

In the meantime I am posting several to a DropBox account for "review" by local authorities before releasing them to the "general public."

Rod, Do you know any good programs to email photos? When I try to send mine, my browser says the file is too big. Thanks

https://www.yousendit.com/ is a good program. My email client, Thunderbird, uses it. It also appears that you can log-in, compose the email with attachments and send the files.

Update: It is easier to use the Thunderbird email client than sending from within the program. You might be able to do a "share" of a folder with me. Another method would be to load the files into Google Drive, create a folder and share it with me. Of course, you will need a Google account.

Other options include using an on-line "cloud" service for free hosting of files (Google's G--Drive is an example of one). Others that I have used include DropBox and SugarSync.

It took awhile to get my act together, collate all the photographs and so on... but, in summary:

"Spent a very enjoyable long weekend camping with other paipo enthusiasts in Central California, just below Big Sur and north of Cambria, at San Simeon State Park. The location is great, offers a ton of wave break options and is close enough to re-load on supplies in San Simeon. However, July and August probably aren't advisable due to the crowded and cramped conditions. The State Park was in overload mode... I don't think this is what the rangers signed up for. Many thanks to my personal host, Kim Green, and to our area host, Dr. Robert. Additional extra thanks to our supreme camp chefs, Kim and Trevor. Talk about camp cooking taken to the next level!"
