This is bound to be a good one. I did a quick walk through on Tuesday after wrapping up research work. Found my invite in the stack of mail awaiting my return this evening. Interesting side note that I mentioned to Barry Haun, the curator, that touches on Hobie, Grubbie Clark and paipos boards. The first experimental foam blank/mold used for blowing foam was for a bellyboard [see the Steve Pezman article under http://mypaipoboards.org/mags/magazines ... rs_Journal].

I spent much of the past week helping at the SHF in preparation for the Innovations of Hobie exhibit which opened tonight.
We had close to 500 people show up and dozens of old school surf legends were in attendance including but not limited to Hobie Alter, Phil Edwards, Mickey Muñoz, Carl & Woody Ekström, Dick Metz, Danny Brawner, Joyce Hoffman, Jericho Poppler and many more.
The level of stoke in the building was off the chart.
It's amazing how good some of the old-timers look.
Surfing really does help keep you young in mind and body.
